What Makes a Good Starting Colonist?
A strong colony start needs a balanced crew: one dedicated cook/doctor, one builder/miner, and one researcher/grower. Look for traits that boost work speed (Industrious) or mood stability (Sanguine).
RimWorld Pawn FAQ
How do skill levels affect pawns?
Higher skill means faster and higher-quality work. Skills 1–20 plus passions (minor/major) boost speed and quality further.
Should I min-max starting colonists?
Balance is safer than min-maxing early. Avoid pawns with negative traits like Pyromaniac or Chemical Interest at colony start.
